Technical Support & Knowledge Integration Consultant

Catalytic Finance Foundation is recruiting a Technical Support and Knowledge Integration Consultant to support the Foundation’s technical work programme on ocean and coral finance. The Foundation works at the intersection of finance, conservation and policy to develop and scale catalytic financing solutions that unlock public, private and philanthropic capital for ocean ecosystems.

The Consultant will provide technical, analytical and knowledge-management support across the Foundation’s coral finance and broader ocean finance portfolios. The role works closely with the Foundation’s technical leads, partners and external experts to synthesise and translate scientific, financial and policy knowledge into outputs that inform decision-makers, investors and the Foundation’s convenings.

Responsibilities include conducting research, literature reviews and analyses on coral reef finance, ocean finance, blended finance and related topics; synthesising scientific, financial and policy knowledge into technical briefs, reports and presentations; developing and maintaining the Foundation’s knowledge base on coral finance; supporting the development of technical inputs for convenings, publications and external communications; contributing to the Foundation’s strategy and programme development; and engaging with external partners and experts.

Required qualifications include a relevant advanced degree (marine science, environmental economics, conservation finance, public policy or related); demonstrated experience in technical research, analysis and writing; understanding of ocean and coral reef science, conservation finance or related fields; strong written and verbal communication skills; experience with knowledge management systems and tools; the ability to translate complex technical information for diverse audiences; and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across sectors.
