BMT is hiring a Survey Coordinator, Marine Surveys, based in Rotterdam, Netherlands on a full-time, on-site basis.

The Survey Coordinator coordinates all pre-risk inspection surveys and audits, including global subcontracting activities. The successful candidate arranges surveys, manages reporting, supports day-to-day operations of the department, and maintains an excellent level of communication with clients and internal teams. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving alongside strong English language skills.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all pre-risk inspection surveys and audits, including global subcontracting activities.
- Review and format reports with exceptional attention to detail before they are issued to clients.
- Prepare client invoices accurately and send them in a timely manner.
- Use Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and customer databases to maintain and organise information.
- Take ownership of tasks and ensure work is delivered to the highest standard.
- Contribute to a shared goal through teamwork, adaptability, and cooperative working.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Coordinator or similar role.
- High proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), SharePoint, and CRM or customer database systems.
- Excellent command of the English language (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documents and records.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to handle client interactions confidently.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take accountability for individual responsibilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills within a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the marine or surveying industry.
- Good command of Dutch language.

- Department: Technical Capability. Reports to Wessel Potjer.
- Full-time, on-site in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
