Specialist Recruiter
Website WWF International
WWF International is hiring a Specialist Recruiter to oversee end-to-end recruitment activity across WWF International and key stakeholders in the Network. The role reports to the Head of Recruitment and sits within the People & Culture function. It is responsible for delivering consistent, timely, and professional recruitment service across global talent markets and multiple jurisdictions, while adhering to inclusive recruitment principles and WWF International’s policies and Network standards.
The remit covers three main areas. Recruitment delivery: supporting employer branding initiatives and candidate pipeline development, collaborating with hiring managers on tailored sourcing strategies, coordinating the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle (sourcing, screening, offers, onboarding), running recruitment training for hiring managers and panel members, maintaining job advertisements on internal and external platforms including LinkedIn and panda.org, coordinating with Senior Business Partners and the Talent Management Coordinator on logistics and interview panels, ensuring compliance with pre-employment referencing, Bridger checks, right-to-work documentation, and GDPR, liaising with Employee Services on contractual arrangements, relocation, and work permit requirements, and supporting offer preparation and salary discussions. The post holder may sit on interview panels and provides ongoing feedback to internal candidates to support development.
Data reporting and recruitment system management: serving as backup super user for the Canopy HRIS recruitment module applicant tracking system, supporting adoption and training, tracking key recruitment metrics, providing market intelligence data on talent market trends, and backing up onboarding activities both in-person and virtually. Customer service and continuous improvement: managing specialist recruitment programmes and searches, ensuring positive candidate experience, identifying SOP improvements, supporting offboarding as part of exit management, and maintaining baseline understanding of immigration policies to assess candidate eligibility across locations.
Required qualifications include a university degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Administration, or a related subject, and 4-6 years’ experience in a global People & Culture function with hands-on recruitment, strategic sourcing, and talent pool work. INGO experience is preferable, along with experience managing diverse international projects across complex global environments with multiple stakeholders. The role requires experience with HRIS systems, ATS platforms, LinkedIn, multiple sourcing channels, and (where relevant) executive search partners. Required skills include the ability to constructively challenge hiring managers, embed DE&I practices in recruitment, high emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity, comfort with ambiguity and fast-paced shifting situations, strong service-driven customer focus, and fluency in English (other languages advantageous).
