WWF International is hiring a Specialist, Employee Engagement to support the coordination, implementation, and continuous improvement of employee engagement initiatives across WWF International and the wider Network. The role reports to the Head of Organisational Culture and Employee Engagement and contributes to fostering an inclusive, values-driven, and connected employee experience through engagement activities, employee listening processes, and culture initiatives that strengthen participation, collaboration, and alignment with WWF values. The post holder works closely with P&C colleagues, managers, and staff across the Network to support engagement planning, feedback analysis, communications, and implementation of initiatives that enhance employee experience and organisational culture.

The role spans five main areas. Employee engagement strategy and programmes: supporting and implementing engagement strategies aligned with organisational priorities, coordinating initiatives that strengthen employee motivation, belonging, recognition, and organisational commitment, running engagement campaigns that foster a positive and inclusive employee experience, and embedding organisational values and desired behaviours across teams and geographies. Employee listening and insights: coordinating engagement surveys, pulse checks, focus groups, and listening sessions, analysing engagement data and trends to identify risks and priority interventions, preparing reports and dashboards with actionable recommendations for managers, and monitoring key people metrics including engagement, turnover, retention, absenteeism, and employee sentiment.

Manager and leadership support: supporting managers in improving team engagement and workplace climate, helping leaders interpret engagement data and implement action plans, and facilitating workshops and discussions on engagement, wellbeing, team effectiveness, and organisational culture. Employee recognition and wellbeing: supporting and maintaining recognition initiatives, contributing to wellbeing programmes focused on mental health, inclusion, resilience, and work-life balance, and coordinating activities that promote employee connection in hybrid, remote, or geographically dispersed teams. Change management and culture: supporting engagement during periods of organisational change and transformation, contributing to culture-building initiatives and internal change communication efforts, and helping strengthen trust, transparency, and psychological safety during organisational transitions.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Psychology, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 4-6 years of experience in employee engagement, organisational culture, HR, internal communications, or related People & Culture functions. Candidates need experience supporting engagement initiatives, employee listening activities, or culture programmes in multicultural and international environments; analysing employee feedback and engagement data; and supporting organisation-wide initiatives involving multiple stakeholders. NGO, nonprofit, or mission-driven organisation experience is an advantage. Fluency in English is required; additional languages an asset.
