One Tree Planted, a leading global non-profit dedicated to reforestation and nature-based solutions, is recruiting a Regional Manager of Projects for Latin America. The role supports the design, delivery and performance of One Tree Planted’s reforestation portfolio across Latin America, with a primary focus on Central America. The role manages assigned projects across the full lifecycle from origination through implementation, monitoring and reporting, ensuring projects are strategically aligned, operationally rigorous, and deliver measurable outcomes across biodiversity, climate and community benefits. This includes supporting implementing partner relationships, ensuring compliance with OTP and industry standards, and delivering verified, donor-ready reporting and communications.

Project management responsibilities (60% of the role) include managing assigned end-to-end lifecycle activities of reforestation projects (pipeline development, project onboarding, contracting, budgeting, implementation oversight, monitoring, reporting and project closeout); identifying, assessing and advancing strategic, landscape-aligned project opportunities; conducting technical and operational review of proposed projects including evaluation of implementing partner capacity, project design and feasibility, monitoring frameworks, and carbon and co-benefit potential; managing implementing partner relationships including due diligence, contract development, milestone tracking and compliance; supporting project financial management; tracking project performance against OTP KPIs; ensuring timely high-quality partner reporting including narrative updates, geospatial data (KML, shapefiles), survival data and photo and video documentation; conducting field visits and site verifications; and preparing high-quality donor reports.

Administration (30%) includes managing administrative and compliance functions including contracts, amendments and partner agreements; reviewing and processing partner invoices and payment requests; maintaining accurate project data across OTP systems (Airtable, Salesforce, SmugMug) and the donor portal; and facilitating internal and external meetings. Donor relations (5%) and communications support (5%) include partnering with the Development team to support stewardship of key funders, participating in donor visits and field experiences, collaborating with Marketing and Communications on milestone updates and field stories, and ensuring all visual and media assets are properly captioned, organised and uploaded to OTP platforms.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, Natural Resources, International Development, Project Management or related field, or equivalent experience (advanced degree preferred); 5–7 years of experience in project management or programme coordination, ideally within conservation, reforestation or nature-based solutions; demonstrated experience supporting multi-country or global programmes; experience working with implementing partners, NGOs or community-based organisations; strong understanding of end-to-end project lifecycle management; experience supporting Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) processes; and experience preparing donor reports. Bilingual English and Spanish required (French or Portuguese a plus). Willingness to travel approximately 25%.
