Project Engineer, Water and Wastewater

The firm is seeking a Project Engineer within its Water and Wastewater group, with four to six years of experience, to work in its Greenville, South Carolina office.

The role involves preparing utility designs, including plans and specifications for permitting and construction of water distribution and wastewater collection projects such as water mains, gravity sewers, wastewater pump stations and storage tanks. It includes performing hydraulic modelling to assist water and wastewater planning and design efforts, assisting in the preparation of water and wastewater master planning studies, and assisting in construction administration of water distribution and wastewater collection system projects. The post-holder manages a flexible workload across diverse projects and works with multiple staff members, including delegating work to entry-level staff.

The firm is looking for candidates with a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS and REVIT (preferred), and a PE licence (preferred, or the ability to become licensed within twelve months). Experience dealing with multiple projects and clients, and managing the technical, budgetary and client aspects of projects, is sought, along with strong writing and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, a strong work ethic, a valid driver’s licence, and a willingness to keep learning as new tasks and projects arise.
