Description
Flinders Port Holdings is hiring a full-time Marine Services Team Member at Adelaide’s Outer Harbor, supporting vessel and maintenance operations on an even-time roster, with applications closing 3 June 2026.

The Marine Services Team Member reports to the Marine Services Team Leader and works as part of a team delivering marine services to vessels and meeting wharf and jetty maintenance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Moor vessels and prepare berths.
- Maintain wharves, jetties, and navigational aids.
- Carry out civil works and general earthworks maintenance.
- Conduct gardening duties including cutting, weeding, hand spraying, and fertilising.
- Operate small plant and mechanical equipment, including forklifts.
- Perform trade-related maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Trade qualifications in building, carpentry, mechanical, welding or fabrication, or maintenance fitter.
- Administrative experience and strong computer literacy.
- Ability and experience working independently and in teams.
- High level of attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Experience working in a multi-skilled environment.
- Experience in writing JSEAs and risk assessments.
- Current driver’s licence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master V Certificate of Competency.
- Marine Engine Driver Grade 2 (MED2).
- Unrestricted Coxswains Certificate.
- Pilot transfer and launch maintenance operations (Deckhand).
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership or supervisor role.

- Even-time roster: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off.
