Work may take place in variable weather conditions, at remote locations, in hazardous terrain, and under physically demanding circumstances, and occasionally requires long hours, weekends, and holidays. The role requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of 25 pounds, and a valid driver license.
Minimum qualifications include an Associate degree in natural resources, environmental studies, or equivalent combination of education and 6 months of experience; demonstrated experience managing and prioritising tasks from multiple sources; Youth certification (TNC training completed within initial 30 days of employment and annually thereafter); and experience with Windows, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), Box, Teams, and web browsers/internet research. Desired qualifications include multi-language skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience, prior field experience, ability to assist with program budget development and monitoring, ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment, strong time management skills, experience with GPS hardware (such as Trimble, Garmin), and experience with detail-oriented and numerical tasks.
