Large-Scale MPAs and Coastal Security: A Big Ocean–NOAA Learning Exchange

Big Ocean and the NOAA Marine Protected Area Center are hosting a two-day virtual learning exchange on how large-scale marine protected areas contribute to coastal security and resilience. Participants will explore global practices for achieving coastal resilience and security benefits through large-scale marine conservation and practise articulating these benefits to national stakeholders, with a focus on case studies and shared best practice. Live interpretation will be provided in English and Spanish.
