Atlantic Shark Identification Workshop
Venue: The Mainland, 151 Rt. 72 East, Manahawkin, NJ 08050, USA.
The Atlantic Shark Identification Workshop is a required workshop for federal shark dealer permit holders, who must attend and obtain a certificate before renewing their shark dealer permit. First-time attendees must attend in person; those recertifying may choose between in-person and online workshops. Dealers may send a qualifying proxy in their place.
Attendance is free, and registration is by calling Angler Conservation Education on (386) 682-0158.
What to Expect:
- Shark identification training for federal shark dealer permit holders
- Certification required before shark dealer permit renewal, renewable every three years
- In-person attendance required for first-timers, with online recertification available thereafter
