About the Edible Climate Archive

Rose McAdoo is an interdisciplinary artist and creative researcher whose work explores how food, science, and storytelling transform the way people connect with our planet and each other. Her long-term body of work, the Edible Climate Archive, brings together field expeditions, art exhibitions, workshops, and public installations to transform complex research and inaccessible worlds into lived human experience.

The role

Rose McAdoo is searching for the right person (very broad, but very important) to help design and expand the Edible Climate Archive. This body of work includes years of polar fieldwork, glacier guiding, art expeditions, and science communication. This is an initial project to start, with the goal of a long-term collaborative partnership.

Qualifications and experience

  • A strong portfolio and vision. Candidates could come from any hybrid background in graphic or editorial design, the outdoor industry, magazines, books, museums, environmental storytelling, or other ambitious creative projects.

Salary and benefits

Up to $2,000 (flexible DOE) has been allocated for this initial project, with the goal of this remote position growing into a long-term collaborative partnership with expanded resource and pay.
