Plastics and Health Regional Forum: Connecting Human, Environmental, and Great Lakes Health in the Age of Plastic Pollution
About this event
The first Plastics and Health Regional Forum: Connecting Human, Environmental, and Great Lakes Health in the Age of Plastic Pollution brings together researchers, healthcare professionals, students and community leaders to look at the links between plastic pollution, ecological health and human well-being. Through presentations, a panel discussion, local artwork and networking, the forum will cover current plastics research, human health concerns, policy responses and practical solutions.
The NOAA Marine Debris Program and the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation supported the event so it can run as a zero-waste effort. In-person capacity is limited.
