MASTS 16th Annual Science Meeting: Tides of Change, Waves of Possibility
About this event
The sixteenth MASTS Annual Science Meeting, “Tides of Change, Waves of Possibility”, is a cross-disciplinary event bringing together the marine science community to promote and communicate research excellence and forge new scientific collaborations. The first two days feature expert speakers and contributed talks, panel sessions and e-posters covering the latest research and management practices that address marine science and management in the face of global climate change and a biodiversity crisis.
Alongside the general science sessions, the meeting includes special topic sessions and opportunities to network, with the third day devoted to workshops. The call for abstracts for e-posters and talks is now open. Abstracts may be submitted for a general science session or for one of the special sessions: Technological Innovation in Environmental Monitoring and Assessment; Multiple Stressors; Climate Change Adaptation in the Marine Environment: From Knowledge to Action; Marine Mammals; Natural Capital Approaches for Marine and Coastal Conservation; The Future of Estuaries; Particle Tracking; Marine Biogeochemistry; and Sustainable Aquaculture.
The abstract deadline is 31 August 2026. Session information and the abstract template are on the MASTS website.
