Entry is completely free, rain or shine, and all exhibits and timed activities are included.
This year’s event features exhibits, children’s activities, seining in the York River, campus tours, seafood cooking demonstrations, and more. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site. Advance registration is strongly encouraged to speed up check-in on the day of the event.
The MSD 2026 Marine Life Costume Contest invites all ages to wear original costumes of marine plants or animals, with awards in categories including most original, most creative use of sustainable materials, best group costume, best representation of a plant or animal, and the grand prize.
