Consultant – Fundraising support

WWF EPO is looking for a consultant who will support the fundraising for WWF and its NGO partners related to the work on the EU Nature Restoration Law/NRL and the EU Birds and Habitats Directives/BHD. The requested support includes the development and implementation of a fundraising strategy. The coordination between the different NGOs will be taken forward by WWF.

The consultant is expected to develop:

  1.  an overall fundraising strategy for the EU Nature Restoration Law and the EU Birds and Habitats Directives;
  2. research of potential donors (focus private foundations) and their priorities;
  3. list of potential donors which should be approached (including the development of recommendations on how to approach them);
  4. Support the development of a convincing 6-pager which gives background information and motivates to engage/invest in the EU Nature Restoration Law (layout will be provided);
  5. drafting the development of concept notes for selected donors (up to 10) and
  6. support to draft attractive proposals based on the feedback of potential donors.

Timeline of project: 1 December 2024 to 30 March 2025

Expected working time: 20 working days

Deadline of submission of project proposal: 24 November 2024 midnight.
