Free-divers Jenna Solberg and Finley Murphy descend into a kelp forest off the coast of Catalina Island. Kelp forests are an incredible ecosystem full of diverse marine animals that live, hunt, feed, and breed around the kelp. Many animals shelter in and depend on these forests for their survival.
Karim was published in National Geographic magazine for his humpback whale photography. He now leads his own trips so that others can swim with whales.
