Solutions Series: Scaling Regenerative Materials to Help Replace Plastics
As the transition away from single-use plastics accelerates, there are applications where the ideal solution — plastic-free, nontoxic reuse and refill systems — is not yet feasible. Biobased and regenerative materials are emerging to fill that gap, but the field carries real risk of greenwashing. This webinar examines how to assess which materials qualify as genuinely regenerative and which are simply better-marketed alternatives, with a focus on two promising categories: hemp and agricultural byproducts. The panel features Alexandra French, CEO of Xampla (Morro™ materials from pea proteins); and Kimberly Kovacs, Founder and CEO of RENW (hemp packaging). Co-moderated by Erica Cirino and Aidan Maguire of Plastic Pollution Coalition.
Time: 12:00 PM PT / 3:00 PM ET
