National Ocean Sciences Bowl: Scientist Spotlight with Holly Olivarez

The National Ocean Sciences Bowl (NOSB) is excited to host a virtual event for our community featuring Holly Olivarez, PhD Candidate, NSF Graduate Research Fellow. Holly is an experienced communicator and social justice advocate who uses Earth system models to study ocean biogeochemistry, including air-sea CO2 flux, and oceanic anthropogenic carbon. Holly will not only highlight her exciting research and outreach efforts but also share her own unique journey to becoming an ocean scientist and how many opportunities there are in oceanography. This event is open to all past, present, and future NOSB students, coaches, volunteers, alumni, Regional Coordinators, sponsors, families, and friends, so please spread the word and we hope to see you there!
