About This Event:

The Coastal Society (TCS) invites coastal and environmental professionals, students, and community members to attend this in-person forum at UNCW’s Discovery Hall. The event will feature plenary sessions, breakout discussions, and networking opportunities focused on addressing priority coastal issues in North Carolina.

Topics will include marine debris and plastics, innovative shoreline resilience methods, and economic tools for flood resilience. Participants will engage in lively dialogue with experts from federal, state, and local government, NGOs, and academia. Lunch, coffee, and snacks are included in registration, with vegan options available upon request.
