Christina is a passionate advocate for ocean conservation, writer, and a seasoned fundraising professional, currently serving as resident Pirate and the Chief Growth Officer at SEVENSEAS Media. With a BSc in wildlife and fisheries sciences from Texas A&M University, Christina has dedicated her career to ensuring financial sustainability for the on-the-ground initiatives of international environmental nonprofit organizations. Her extensive experience includes roles at Sustainable Fisheries Partnership, Re:wild, The Nature Conservancy, Conservation International, and the Surfrider Foundation, among others. Christina’s dedication to the natural world is further evidenced by her volunteer work, which has taken her from wildlife rehabilitation in Texas to humpback whale monitoring in Brazil, and raptor studies in Scotland. Based in Ribamar, Portugal, Christina continues to channel her deep love for the ocean and all its magnificent creatures into ensuring a brighter future for generations to come.
