Key Responsibilities

Emission Reduction Strategy:

  • Guide teams in minimizing emissions across operations and products, aligning with the Science-Based Targets initiative.

Sustainability Governance & Reporting:

  • Oversee sustainability reporting, corporate governance, and supply chain sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with climate-related regulations and evolving industry standards.
  • Support ESG data management, reporting, and analysis alongside TOMRA’s Sustainability and Controlling teams.

Decarbonization Initiatives:

  • Lead TOMRA Food’s decarbonization strategy, providing technical expertise and strategic guidance.
  • Oversee scope 1-3 emissions reporting, improving data accuracy and benchmarking against best practices.
  • Quantify and report on avoided emissions enabled by TOMRA Food products.

Communication & Engagement:

  • Communicate TOMRA’s sustainability strategy to internal and external audiences.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on sustainability topics across the organization.
  • Mentor employees and sustainability champions, fostering a strong sustainability culture.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Climate and Energy Management, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sustainability-focused roles, especially GHG management and climate strategy.
  • Proficiency in GHG Protocol applications and corporate sustainability frameworks.
  • Strong project management skills, with a structured and organized approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities, with adaptability in organizational change.
  • Strong quantitative skills, including Excel-based data analysis and modeling.
  • Up to 10% travel required.
