
Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust, Inc.

- Experience Required: At least 3 years in land conservation or a related field
Essential Functions:
Project Management
- Lead land protection projects (fee acquisitions and conservation easements)
- Oversee due diligence, budgeting, legal documentation, and timelines
- Collaborate with the Stewardship Team for project transitions
Community and Partner Engagement
- Build trust with deedholders, municipalities, Indigenous partners, and stakeholders
- Support the Land Justice Team’s equity-based initiatives
- Represent Mount Grace at events, site visits, and community meetings
Fundraising and Grant Management
- Write and manage conservation-related grants
- Secure project funding from state agencies and private foundations
- Track budgets and reporting timelines
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Experience with conservation transactions and relationship-building
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of ArcGIS and land conservation databases a plus
- Understanding of Massachusetts land funding sources preferred
