Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate activities of the Business Development & Transaction Management team across European markets.
  • Lead and develop the team, ensuring professional and disciplinary management.
  • Oversee M&A processes for the sale of project rights, including documentation and negotiations (SPAs).
  • Coordinate external advisors for due diligence processes.
  • Identify sales, investment, and participation opportunities in European markets, including co-investors and financing options.
  • Expand industry networks and engage with potential partners.
  • Implement sales strategies while tracking market trends.
  • Support process improvement and standardization initiatives.
  • Prepare key performance reports, defining improvement measures as needed.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences, and industry events.
  • Manage other projects related to Business Development & Transaction Management.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in energy technology, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of professional experience, preferably in sales, M&A, and transaction management.
  • Strong leadership skills, including team motivation and coordination.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Passion for the PV (photovoltaic) industry with an innovative mindset.
  • Business fluency in German and English.
  • Extensive network within the European PV industry.
  • Proven sales and management experience in the utility-scale PV environment.
  • Knowledge of setting up and managing sales organizations, agile management, and sales support functions such as sales operations, sales enablement, and sales excellence.
