Marketing Intern

Job Type: Internship (min. 3 months)

Who We Are:

Seven Clean Seas builds Ocean Impact Projects and empowers communities to turn the tide on plastic pollution. We work with businesses and individuals to co-create sustainability initiatives following the Measure, Reduce, Offset, and Engage framework. A large part of what we do involves engaging businesses to involve employees in the fight against plastic pollution.

The Role:

We’re looking for a university student or recent graduate to join us for a 3-month (or longer) internship. Kickstart your career in marketing and/or sustainability with our rapidly growing organisation! This role doesn’t require previous work experience, though it certainly wouldn’t hurt. Be eager to learn and open to challenges, and show us your passion for creative communications and ocean conservation.

You’ll be joining Seven Clean Seas at an exciting time, so be prepared to work hard and have fun!

Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation

• Work with the Social Media Manager to create engaging and relevant content for Seven Clean Seas’ social media channels, mainly for TikTok
• Stay up-to-date on social media trends through research
• Support the Marketing and Account Management teams to deliver new monthly content for Seven Clean Seas B2B partners, as requested

2. Public Relations

• Support the Marketing Manager with PR outreach, as requested
• Write press releases in English and/or Bahasa Indonesia for major milestones and other events

3. Other

• Support with social media copywriting, as requested

What We’re Looking For:

• Current students or recent graduates from Marketing, Marketing Communication, Media Communications, or related
• Up-to-date with current/trending social media practises
• Passion for environmental and/or other sustainability issues
• Experience (professional or personal) in content creation is a plus!
• Open-minded and eager to learn new skills
• Able to work in a international and fast-paced environment
• Advanced level of English language (written and spoken)
• Willing to temporarily relocate to Bali, if not already based here
