Your role
We are looking for a Manager to oversee and develop our Electrical Operation team. The leadership responsibilities are split between two roles; you’ll be in charge of managing the team and overseeing strategic development and execution, while your manager colleague will handle the professional/technical aspects. Therefore, we are looking for a manager who is dedicated to the leadership role, and capable of leading a team while maintaining high operational standards.
You will be responsible for defining, implementing, and managing the global strategy for electrical operations in accordance with best practices. The ideal candidate will be passionate about renewable energy, good at leading people and interested in gaining technical knowledge. In this role, your key responsibilities are:
- Team Management: Lead, develop, and manage the Electrical Operation team to ensure effective daily operations.
- Global Strategy: Define and implement the overall global strategy for Electrical Operations across Eurowind Energy’s assets.
- Compliance: Ensure operations comply with EN 50110 and local regulations, securing resources to manage electrical infrastructure safely and efficiently.
- Digitalization: Oversee the digital transformation initiatives within the Electrical Operation department.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with EPC, Technical and Commercial Asset Management, and IT to ensure seamless operations.
- Learning and Optimization: Analyze errors, incidents, and learning outcomes to continuously optimize electrical operations.
- Employee Development: Lead the onboarding, development, and offboarding processes in collaboration with HR.
- Reporting & Invoicing: Handle approvals for invoices and ensure accurate billing for work performed.
Your profile
You professional and educational background may vary – for us it is more important that you can recognize yourself in the following key competencies:
- Management Experience: Previous experience managing a team, ideally in the energy sector or a related field
- Language Skills: Fluent in English (written and spoken); German proficiency is an advantage but not required.
- Technical understanding and/or interest: A strong interest in or experience with electrical operations. You will not need to be the expert, but you should be clearly interested in the technical part of the job as well.
