Ecological Impact of Invasive Species Graduate Intern

WWF’s Markets Institute seeks a graduate intern to research and analyze the ecological impact of invasive species as part of its innovative market-based solutions initiative. The intern will study 2-3 invasive species, focusing on population dynamics, environmental effects, and harvest impacts. Tasks include literature review, modeling, and summarizing findings to inform strategic frameworks. Interns will gain experience in applying research to real-world ecological challenges.


Qualifications

  • Actively enrolled in a graduate program in ecology or a related field.
  • Strong research skills and alignment with WWF’s core values: Courage, Integrity, Respect, Collaboration.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not provided).

Compensation

  • This position allows for flexible work arrangements and offers competitive hourly pay.
  • Compensation is set at $22.50 per hour.
  • Internship duration: 10 weeks, 35 hours per week.
  • Projected dates: June 16, 2025 – August 22, 2025.
