Essential Functions:

  • Advocate for removing lead from drinking water, especially in schools and childcare centers
  • Campaign to prevent sewage overflows, runoff pollution, and PFAS contamination
  • Organize public events, educational webinars, and stakeholder meetings
  • Engage and build broad coalitions to support clean water policy
  • Generate earned media through op-eds and interviews; grow social media reach
  • Lobby decision-makers and submit testimony on legislation
  • Write grant proposals and fundraise from individual donors and foundations
  • Manage interns and support team recruitment efforts

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Effective at managing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Proven ability to inspire and organize others
  • Self-starter with a passion for clean water and environmental justice
