
Wyoming Game & Fish Department
- Salary/Compensation: $19.40 hourly

- Hours per Week: Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Education Required: Preference given to candidates with a high school diploma and experience or coursework towards degrees in fisheries, wildlife management, ichthyology, hydrology, watershed science, or closely related fields.
- Experience Required: Prior experience or relevant coursework strongly preferred.
Essential Functions:
- Perform electrofishing, gill netting, trap netting, amphibian and reptile surveys, habitat assessments, and angler surveys.
- Assist in watercraft inspection and aquatic invasive species management.
- Conduct chemical restoration projects and maintain equipment.
- Data entry and analysis tasks.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including hiking, wading, and camping.
- Independent working capability and effective teamwork essential.
Working Conditions:
- Field-based position with physical demands.
- Work conducted outdoors, often under inclement weather conditions.
- Occasional overnight camping required.
