
World Wildlife Fund (WWF)
WWF’s Markets Institute is seeking an undergraduate intern to explore climate standards harmonization for agricultural imports. The intern will co-design the scope of a quantitative review, assess greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting standards for imported products, and summarize discrepancies and similarities. This work is critical to improving how agricultural emissions are measured and mitigated globally.
Compensation
- This position allows for flexible work arrangements and offers competitive hourly pay.
- Compensation is set at $20.50 per hour.
- Internship duration: 10 weeks, 35 hours per week.
- Projected dates: June 16, 2025 – August 22, 2025.
Qualifications
- Actively enrolled in an associate’s or bachelor’s program in economics, food systems, agriculture, data science, ecology, or related field.
- Quantitative and data analysis skills.
- Familiarity with scientific papers.
- Aligns with WWF’s core values: Courage, Integrity, Respect, and Collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Coding skills (e.g., Python), Mandarin or Portuguese fluency, or familiarity with climate change or agricultural concepts are a plus.
