REEF Florida Keys Lionfish Derby & Festival
Date/Time: Sunday, September 8-11, 2022, from 11am-3pm
This year’s event includes two full days of lionfish hunting, followed by a family-friendly lionfish festival hosted at Postcard Inn Beach Resort & Marina in Islamorada on Sunday, Sept. 11 from 11am-3pm. The festival is free and open to the public, and features lionfish tastings, drink specials, demonstrations, games, interactive booths from environmentally-minded vendors, and live music. Prizes will be awarded for MOST lionfish, SMALLEST and LARGEST lionfish and a Golden Fish raffle award for all participating teams.
