Bay Area Divers Meeting

Speaker: Rachel Parmer, Natural Resources Specialist/Artificial Reef Coordinator at Texas Parks & Wildlife

Rachel holds a Bachelors degree in Zoology and a Masters degree in Marine Resource Management from Texas A&M University. She has various professional experiences in marine animal husbandry, rehabilitation, and restoration. She is certified in both technical and scientific diving, using these skills to facilitate habitat restoration and data collection to benefit ocean species in many ways. Her passion is to protect and restore marine habitats to ensure healthy oceans for future generations.
