2024 New Jersey Coastal and Climate Resilience Conference

About the Conference
The New Jersey Coastal Resilience Collaborative and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection invite you to join us at the 2024 New Jersey Coastal & Climate Resilience Conference. The conference will run from March 12-14 at Monmouth Universityin West Long Branch.
An optional mobile session will be held on Thursday, March 14. The focus will be on resilience projects in Monmouth County such as flood barriers, resilient building design, and natural shoreline restoration. Municipal representatives will go through project details including how partnerships were formed, how each project was funded, and how they are currently managed and maintained, as well as technical aspects of the project. Lunch will be included in the tour.
Conference Goals
This three-day conference will bring together a network of coastal and climate resilience professionals and practitioners with the goals of:
- Engaging with New Jersey experts and leaders on the current state of coastal science and research, climate resilience and resilience planning, coastal management, ecological restoration, and other related topics.
- Fostering peer-to-peer learning on what makes for a successful project with community buy-in, whether it be a restoration project, a municipal resilience plan, or a floodplain buyout.
- Offering networking opportunities to build relationships & cultivate useful collaborations.
Registration Details
Registration includes access to all conference sessions, networking events, morning and afternoon refreshment breaks, and lunch during the conference. It does NOT include meals not mentioned here or the $40 fee for the optional field trip on Thursday.

Registration is capped and is expected to fill quickly, so be sure to register early.
