SUMMARY:REEF Fish Out of Water Virtual 5K 2026
DESCRIPTION:REEF’s 7th annual Fish Out of Water Virtual 5K returns June 7–13, 2026, timed with World Oceans Day. The weeklong format lets participants complete their 5K however they like — running, walking, hiking, biking, paddling, or swimming — from anywhere in the world. Registration is $65 and includes a limited-edition race shirt (available in youth and adult sizes), a race bib, custom fish team stickers, and a digital toolkit. Participants choose one of five Fish Teams — Jewel Moray, Raccoon Butterflyfish, Bat Ray, Nineline Goby, or Pacific Bird Wrasse — each a species tracked by REEF’s volunteer citizen scientists.
