DESCRIPTION:Date/Time: Friday, August 9, 2024, 10 am – 11:30 am\nLocation\nVIMS – Watermen’s Hall ( http://www.wm.edu/about/visiting/campusmap/location/vims-watermens.php ), Visitors Center\n1375 Greate Road\nGloucester Point, VA 23062\nReserve space on one of our behind-the-scenes tours to learn more about the local and global impact of research being done at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS).\nThese 90-minute guided tours are designed for adults and older children (10 and up welcome and must be accompanied by a guardian; the tour is not appropriate for younger children).\nAll tours include a guided interpretation of VIMS’ Visitor Center — including an opportunity to view our gag grouper, catsharks, oyster toadfish and more — and a visit to two research laboratories/facilities. This tour will visit the Nunnally Ichthyology (Fish) Collection and the Multispecies Research Group Laboratory.\n** Please note that all individuals in your party must register individually using the link below (each registration reserves one spot).
